Good morning, a first thank you to the first guests. @Lewis: yes, it had been a while since I heard it again, and I didn't remember it being so sweetie @Vivis, You taste like honey!:-). @Psycho: I understand you. I grew up with these records, and back then they didn't seem that pop. Now, many years later, and after thousands of other listens, they reveal their true nature. But what writing, there's not much high-class pop like this now. In any case, I don't think it's necessary to go back; I don't think you'd appreciate it anyway. Also, it's true that Fried is on another level, and if you started with that, disappointment is a bit inevitable...

Look, I'm not assigning you a priori, but it itches a lot. Because, damn it, Merckx, for crying out loud, that's how it's written. Seriously, we're not talking about that jerk Ligabue here. We're talking about MERCKX. Maybe you should start worrying about who the hell MERCKX is, so perhaps next time you'll write it right. Let me tell you a little something, so you might understand who the hell MERCKX is. I did my service with a guy named Eddy because in some damn Giro d'Italia, MERCKX stopped at his parents' house, sat on a chair (which they still have and keep like a relic), and drank something with them. Just to be clear. You can mess up Ligabue’s name, but you can't mess up Merckx.

P.S.: Lewis, do you really have Radio Birdman tattooed on your leg? Wow! On Saturday I went to see our heroes Bachi live again. Great concert, better than the one this spring. They played four songs from the new album, which is coming out in about a month, and then they played almost everything from Non io and a flaming Prostituisciti.

I liked the review, it's quite funny. Maybe it's good for us forty-somethings, a fourteen-year-old wouldn't understand a damn thing. But honestly, they wouldn't care a damn either. Uh, if I can be an asshole, I have the vinyl from 1981. Festwca, it doesn't really sound as bad as you say, there are other records like stuff from New Race, way worse. Oh, since you're here, I would propose a motion for half a star. Sorry to be low, but I'm sticking with 3.5. Lately, I rate everything 3.5. And I can't. Obviously, four with abundance.

@Kyrie: It's tough for me to compete with Battiato. But soon enough, certain praises I hear around for Conte will make even the Astigiano seem overrated. We're still talking about little songs, come on.

@ Psycho: whether the first Stooges or the second is better depends on how you wake up in the morning. The problem is that both are among the best hundred records ever made. The first Zep, on the other hand, is the best rock music album ever made, and I won't debate that :-). I still haven't figured out which one is Neil's best. Regarding what Mike says, the issue is then connected to influence: famously, the most influential album from the '80s onwards is the banana... and it’s not. I’m a musician (not very good), but with decent knowledge: I assure you that Glaxo Babies, Xiu Xiu, and Screamers have never influenced me at all. Aoxomoxoa, either, while I couldn't live without Dark Star. Crown of Creation is also a great record, but I’m a fan of the Jeffersons, and everyone who plays has been influenced by Somebody to Love and White Rabbit or by Volunteers. And what about the importance of a Blue by Mitchell? Pixies prefer Juju, and that’s fair, but the album that broke through was The Scream. In short, a sea of nonsense. I went to read the controversy between Guglielmi and Bianchi cited by xyz: aside from the fact that when Bianchi starts talking about Mein Kampf I want to vomit, Guglielmi is absolutely right, no matter how much xyz insults him, but maybe he should learn the word respect, for someone who has introduced thousands of punk and alternative American groups in Italy.

Exaggerated reviews and a bit superfluous. There would be a debate, as boring as it is pointless, about the end of everything that this album represents. Apocalypse, perhaps yes. An album that says nothing, and yet, emotionally, it has moved me like few things have in these zero years. It's like wanting to be in May 1980 and staying there forever. Without a vote, one and five make sense in any case.
