The Brian Jonestown Massacre Thank God For Mental Illness

Welcome. Excellent choice to start. A 4 of encouragement, because I feel like you’re getting lost a bit. There are great periods and others less so. Sorry if I seem like a pompous teacher, it’s just what I think. Anyway, keep going, we need people who talk about crazy ones like the Bjm, a band that releases three albums in a year is just madness. Of course, given my forgetfulness, I can’t remember which of the three it was, but as Psycho says, there’s definitely some masterpiece in the album. @Franci, just so you know, they have nothing to do with Wilco.

@Rece a bit too short for my tastes, but nice anyway. Good album. Yes, unconditional support for BHP. @Ugly sometimes the Bachi are even better than the BHP (I'm exaggerating, but not that much). In Italy, maybe something similar is attempted by Cesare Basile.

Dear Sfascia, you misunderstand me. Surely you don't think I want to stir up controversy... My age no longer allows it. It was just a redundancy for the beautiful page, which unfortunately, in the end, few will read, while I invite. P.S.: And also Sartana, it will not strike you or the other Eds, whom I always hold dear, but those who insult our Valerione, while we could have refined speakers like him...

Beautiful Valerio. As perhaps even more than usual. The best stuff read around here since the beginning of the year. What are we doing here when in hp we read the nonsense of Martina 1994? Here we are in pure delirium. Only a dreamlike and anguished mind can compare Herzog to the trimurti. And whoever doesn't understand it, Sartana have mercy on him.

@Girasole: no, unfortunately I’m allergic to CDs, but I’ll take care of it. One of the reasons for not shooting myself:-) could indeed be to get all the recordings of the Joy concerts (I’ve noted the complete giglist somewhere).

@Ole, I would almost be tempted to tell you that you've got it all wrong :-)

I’m glad you’re taking away the burdensome role of official reviewer of the Bachi on DeB! In fact, last year I saw them twice, one was reviewed by Lewis, the other, this tour to promote the new album, I skipped fearing it would become tedious. In my humble opinion, or, as Ale says, in the fruit of my personal hallucination, the best existing Italian band. Too bad there are always about fifty people listening to them...5 for the date in Villafranca that I attended.

:-) Great, I see now that they're on tour too, but I won't make it... have fun! P.S.: I totally agree with you, with one caveat: if I had seen Kyuss at Rancho de la Luna, around 1991/1992, they would have reconciled me too. After that, I would trade all the prog and math records in the world for this :-)
