So it's as I suspected: a BAND of international caliber for over 40 years in the market, they have released fewer LIVE albums than an Italian singer-songwriter of national importance. It's worth reflecting on. I remember that LED ZEPPELIN only released a live album recently, 30 years after their breakup: and those guys were TRULY a BAND that gave everything live!

I ask the usual well-informed, how many LIVE albums has DEGREGORI made. Just because I've lost track by now. I bet he has made more than the GRATEFUL DEAD or the STONES.

De Gregori's fire sale starts with these three live albums... but I mean, what's the need to flood the market with live recordings? It's not like they're LED ZEPPELIN, Springsteen with the E-STREET BAND, or the STONES (essentially the quintessential LIVE bands). I agree with Azzo (first post).

good review and AMAZING NICKNAME. In my opinion (for what it's worth..) you’re wrong when you say: "some may find it a bit plastic and calculated as long as they can trace a similar 'lack' in the Pixies or Dinosaur Jr. (perhaps less in Sonic Youth, though they are eternally present in references to noise-rock)." Sonic Youth has a "programmed" sound and very structured pieces, believe me: nothing is left to chance, even when it seems like they’re playing randomly...
The album is a masterpiece, as already mentioned by others. For those who love the 90s or want to rediscover them, it’s a MUST.

Reviewer boy, I hope you won’t continue with other nonsense (like the KING CRIMSON are psychedelic and other nonsense and blunders that, for pity's sake, I won’t repeat). 1 to the reviewer, deserved on the field. 5 to the album that still has a lot to say... This latest review of this album compels me to advocate for a MORATORIUM on USELESS REVIEWS of HYPER KNOWN and HYPER REVIEWED albums on this glorious site.
