Masterpiece film, with an immense screenplay, brilliant direction, and a dark-toned cinematography that drives me crazy. Jim Carrey and Kate Winslet are superb, but the other actors are good as well. Unfortunately Be Kind Rewind is missing for me, but on the other hand, I saw L'Arte del Sogno and it's on the same level as this. I will read the review thoroughly when my neurons stop playing poker, but it seems that it’s not bad...

I agree with those who criticize you for only discussing Morrison: let's not forget that Manzarek is an extraordinary keyboardist, with a distinctive style; without him, the Doors wouldn't be the Doors. Additionally, Densmore, with his jazzy drumming, crafted dizzying rhythms, and Krieger adorned it all with delicate embellishments. In short, the Doors' mix depended entirely on the musicians; Morrison was simply a great singer and a charismatic figure (well, you said it all :-D). A well-written review nonetheless. The album is profoundly different from the first, much darker and perhaps even more beautiful.
