Iron Maiden Virtual XI
Voto:
The same goes for AC/DC... for me, they should have stopped after "The Razor's Edge"... as for Maiden, I like all their albums, from the first one up to "Fear Of The Dark," but of course, they did repeat themselves a bit. For example, I don't like the albums with Blaze... "Dance Of Death" and "A Matter Of Life And Death" are decent albums, come on!

rg88metal, I think it's very difficult to buy the album in stores, just as it is to download it from LimeWire and EMule.. if you want to listen to it, go to the Vibrations Of Doom website. :)

Great review, I only know the famous "Carry On My Wayward Son" by Kansas.. anyway, great band!

I agree with what you said, Defender!
Iron Maiden Virtual XI

Well, I’ve never really listened to "Virtual XI" very carefully, I only know the good "Futureal" and "The Angel And The Gambler".. the rest doesn’t excite me. The singer's voice doesn’t seem suitable for Iron's style..

Oh, I missed a great review from the great Defender85!! Well, I knew that sooner or later you would do a review on Black Hole or Bloody Skizz.. As you know, I listened to the album on Vibrations and I liked it from the first listens, despite the fact that it's a quite complex sound, with long songs and various changes in rhythm. Anyway, I should listen to it better again; now I’ll have to choose the best songs: the title track, "Demoniac City," "Blind Men And Occult Forces," and "All My Evil," while I really want to revisit the others, since lately I've been focusing more on fusion and prog rock. Good job, keep searching for bands like these on Vibrations Of Doom, as there are so many out there.. if you want a tip, you could check out Dark Quarterer’s "The Etruscan Prophecy" and maybe also Royal Air Force... just a thought. THIS MEANS WAR!!
Soft Machine Third
Voto:
Weather Report, Colosseum, Atomic Rooster, Vanilla Fudge, Blue Cheer... all bands that I really listened to this year or not long ago. I’ve been enjoying exceptional works like "Death Walks Behind You," "Valentyne Suite," "Heavy Weather," "Black Market," and "Vincebus Eruptum." Just yesterday, I wanted to hear "Third" by Soft Machine... pure magic! The more I listen to these groups, the more I think about how there was so much inspiration and talent back then, while now it has unfortunately deteriorated almost completely! Four tracks that are worth twelve, both for their length and beauty... incredible Soft Machine! The music videos on YouTube are also very beautiful... MOON IN JUNE!!
Weather Report Heavy Weather
Voto:
Great review for an album that marked the history of fusion, jazz, and rock music. Weather Report featured lineups composed of extremely talented and technical musicians... just listen to Jaco Pastorius, Wayne Shorter, and all the others. "Heavy Weather" and "Black Market" are the two masterpieces of the band! The first four songs of "Heavy Weather" are phenomenal, as well as "Palladium" and "Havona." JACO THE BEST!!
Colosseum Valentyne Suite
Voto:
Really great music, great bands, and great times! For me, their most beautiful and famous album is this one. "Valentyne Suite" contains fabulous tracks, like the long and majestic title track, the hard-rocking "The Kettle," "The Grass Is Always Greener," and "The Machine Demands A Sacrifice." Truly great Colosseum... too bad they didn't make any other masterpieces like this afterwards.
Vanadium Corruption of Innocence
Voto:
Great review! I've only listened to the amazing "Winds Of Destruction" from "Corruption Of Innocence," I haven't managed to hear the other tracks yet, but I think it's going to be another fabulous album! I'll give the album a 4 just for "Winds Of Destruction"!
