Le Orme Smogmagica
Voto:
The album represents the pop turning point for Le Orme. 1975. With the excellent guitarist Tolo Marton, the quartet composes two fabulous, timeless tracks, above all: Amico di ieri and Immensa distesa. The more experimental and instrumental moments are also very good, namely Los Angeles, Laserium Floyd, and Laurel Canyon. Primi Passi is also touching. The other tracks are minor in comparison. This band, after releasing a psychedelic beat masterpiece, two and a half prog masterpieces, the first Italian live album in history, and a more classical album of unique finesse, confirms their greatness even in a decidedly more pop realm, and this is not the end. What an amazing career, firmly establishing them on the throne of Italian rock. A very emotional review, and it couldn't be any other way with LE ORME.

I mean, in short, even though I prefer the times of Ash Ra, one cannot deny the brilliance of this album.

Criticism? I have given it on the texts; in my opinion, they need to be changed. As for the music, however, I think it should be completely changed.
