THE REVIEW

This is my first review...

First of all, I have to tell you who Against the Neighbour are. They are a band from Predazzo, whose style resembles early Blink (Buddha 1995) and vaguely NOFX in some tracks.

The band is composed of:

scara:guitar and vocals

truda:bass and backing vocals

dalle:drums

Today they have finished recording their first demo, consisting of 4 tracks all in English. The demo opens with "Blow Me", which starts with a slow intro reminiscent of a medieval harp, but after a few seconds, the song becomes fiery and fast, with scara's voice shouting into the microphone; noteworthy is the very catchy chorus. Immediately following is "Everybody Know What Is Better For You", fast and melodic hardcore punk, with a chorus that gets stuck in your head after just one listen. "Keep Out" opens with an electric guitar riff with classical background chords, continuing with a playful punk, reminiscent of the sounds of "Cheshire Cat" by Blink 182.

The demo concludes with "McChicken Vs Kebab", which in my opinion is the best track on the demo, very catchy, melodic, fast, with Californian hardcore sounds...
