But less Barrettian compared to what? From the first two singles (See Emily Play and Arnold Layne), one couldn't expect an 11-minute jam, being "singles," after all. The tracks featured on The Piper are very different from each other, making it impossible to define some as more Barrettian than others. The only point of reference was My Little Red Book by Love, but only for the riff. Additionally, I understand that Interstellar Overdrive was played live since September '66. I get what you mean, but it seems more accurate to state things as they are rather than make references to the GD. Bye.
