Rating: This is not a review, but a true appeal: for no reason should you go to see this film.
The dreadful "Scary Movie 4" was reason enough to convince anyone not to watch this "Epic Movie", but I have a fondness for zany films, so I told myself: "perhaps they've returned to the glory of the first Scary Movie... or at least to the levels of the third..." and full of hope I went into the theater with a damsel in tow.
The worst decision I have ever made in the field of cinema since I was born. "Epic Movie" is the most irritating, unpleasant, offensive, useless, and pathetic thing cinema has ever produced in its history. And it is sad to note the death of a "series" that started off excellently (the first "Scary Movie" is brilliant!) and that at least until the third episode managed to entertain.
For a "zany" film, not being able to elicit a single laugh (ONE!!) from the entire audience (which, as you might have guessed, was not exactly made up of intellectuals) is truly serious. The only emotion I felt was anger, a damn urge to chase anyone who worked on this film and torture them fiercely (maybe by forcing them to repeatedly watch their crappy film).
An insult to human intelligence, the worst way to spend seven euros; a film of absolute sadness, of unreachable uselessness, in short, to be avoided at all costs.
