Well, for me, without going into too much nonsense, Queen is a band that has produced great hits (undeniable) especially in the '80s. If Mercury's death hadn't intervened, they would have been scaled down with the advent of the '90s and later rediscovered like many others. As for the fact that many critics say certain things, I don't care, because sooner or later another critic will come along and say completely different things. If someone likes them, why not give them a 5? Oh my, maybe a 5 is too much, but why not if good reasons are provided? As for analyzing an artist's music surgically, I fully agree with Percy.
