I knew that Poletti had to say his immense bullshit.. look, the ending of Shining, based on King’s work by Kubrick, is terrible! Furthermore (I must say I like Kubrick’s Shining aside from the horrible ending), the film has nothing to do with the book.. it’s distorted in many ways and in a lot of aspects, King’s book was much better! That said, The Shawshank Redemption, aside from being a great film, is definitely adapted better than Shining, just like Stand By Me, The Green Mile, Carrie........ so annoying, Poletti..
