Well... I don't think it's a bad thing to put one Pearl Jam album and one Dream Theater album after a REM record. Even though Dream Theater makes me feel like I have diarrhea, it means that someone listens to different things, which is a good sign. It just annoys me these reviews written without knowing anything about the context or the band...

I follow comics here and there… however, it seems obvious to me that older characters (Fantastic Four, Captain America, Superman…) are more one-dimensional compared to younger ones. Then there are characters that have been brilliantly modernized (like Miller's Batman) and others that haven't (how do you modernize Superman? He was practically born as an almost immortal hero without any flaws?). As for cinema, in my opinion, the choice of director is really important (just to name a couple, X-Men and Batman), while when directors are chosen haphazardly, hoping that a good character will carry the whole film, you end up with hideous messes like Daredevil and Hulk!
