You may wonder: why did this P@ne head decide to write a review about a film like "Saw 3"? Well, the answer is simple: because there weren't any others on DeBaser.

I found no other reasons to write a review of a film I consider, despite the wonderful direction of director Darren Lynn Bousman, a real dud. Classic story: a man, a madman who kidnaps men and women for the most stupid and incomprehensible reasons, and forces them through hellish machines to kill themselves. I thank my friend PaxBrother once again who (as happened again for "Spiderman 3") even that time begged me to go with him to the cinema to see this "new chapter of the horror genre".

After seeing it, I can tell you with certainty: "Saw 3 is anything but horror"!! Pig guts, rotten and decaying, flying in all directions, human heads, arms and legs twisting and breaking, lacerations, cuts, amputations, all seasoned with terrible screams and shrieks to the ear. This is not horror, this is trash!

Two hours of film, in which (perhaps for the first time saw the previous ones) there is finally an attempt to find a plot that however still does not appear well defined. Finally, a protagonist, for a series that really lacked one, comes into play and has to save three people, whom he naturally hates (for reasons I won't explain). Naturally, they all die, only the man is saved, and only to allow a finale that unmistakably points to a new chapter of the "Saw" genre.

THE ONLY POSITIVE NOTE

The film, really well shot by director Darren Lynn Bousman, offers a visual montage that few films can boast of having. If I hadn't vomited after fifteen minutes of the film, I could have said that the final montage leading to the conclusion is one of the best I've ever seen. A continuous return to past events, which violently impact to modify the current story, a return to the past and a look to the future that in my opinion, captures the viewer incredibly:

CONCLUSION

- If you are squeamish, change film.

- If you love horror, change film.

- If you like exciting and thrilling films, change film.

- If you like films, change film.

Recommended for those who want to vomit but don't enjoy sticking their fingers down their throat....
