I'm surprised, Nevskji, that someone with your knowledge can appreciate a group like Puddle of Mudd more than Nickelback, who, aside from their tear-jerking ballads, have produced at least two albums that are clearly superior to this little disc! If you haven't read my previous comment, I suggest you check out one of their live shows and one from Puddle and try to compare... there's absolutely no contest. That said, I want to clarify that I'm not crazy about either one, and I repeat my invitation to Gallagher to listen to all the bands I mentioned before hearing certain things.

surfer riot act do you consider it one of the 5 ten??mah! I really don't see it that way! Besides the fact (but it's a matter of taste) that I appreciate vitalogy, no code, and riot act way more than albums like ten and vs where, after all, their classic tracks are included.

The price??? But it costs 35 euros and there are 7 CDs!! You can't be scared by the price when a new CD (ONE) costs 20 euros!! Aside from that, the review is well done! As a big fan of the Jam, I can say that they are truly fantastic live, with an extraordinary ability to command the stage for more than 2 hours. I won't say that the Jam revolutionized music on Debaser, otherwise someone might kill me, but believe me, Paloz, they deserve more than just a listen! Why do you only listen to what has revolutionized rock? To name a few, the Free didn't revolutionize rock, but they should be listened to! Other names in no particular order: Jeff Buckley, Guns n Roses, Soundgarden, Bad Religion, Aerosmith, and right now I don't want to think but there are another million bands absolutely worth listening to that haven’t revolutionized rock at all. The comparison with the beloved Young and The Who (of which they always do very successful covers!) is great!

Oh my God... So for writing a review on certain Green River songs and saying they were grunge, they killed me. Let’s see what happens to you tomorrow... 3 or 4 clarifications: if you really want to say they’re grunge (but only if you want to, huh), don’t compare them to Nirvana: they were from another era, another place, another situation. If you really want to compare them to someone, you could make a comparison with Nickelback (of which I recommend watching a live performance to see their greater technical preparation and the higher energy of these 4 clowns), or if you prefer (but now we’re going to another era) with Verbena (with a B) whose review I did here on Debaser, produced by Dave Grohl and once again infinitely superior to these 4. But first, you need to listen to the millions of "grunge" bands: Tad, Screaming Trees, Alice in Chains, Green River, Mudhoney, and another million and a half... among the precursors, at least the Wipers and Dinosaur Jr.. After you’ve listened to AT LEAST these, you can tell me what you think about the 4 in question.
Second note: Fred Durst, after producing this album (or just before), made that horrible album with the remake (practically the same) of "Behind Blue Eyes" by The Who, an album heavily influenced by that "grunge" vein that record companies tried to resurrect way too quickly (and you can see it: the bands born during this period as grunge exploded after 1 album, 2 at most).
Another note goes to Scantlin who, as much as he might seem a Cobain emulator, was only that on the surface, since in his statements he has always presented himself as a clean, religious, and very, very peaceful man.
Finally, the rating: 4? No! Come on! 2... a 2 will suffice.

It’s a struggle in the sense that it seems to be a challenge over who has read more... In the end, we’re all fans of Litfiba, which should make us overlook who was there and who wasn’t…
