This thing about the Melvins has been mentioned to me by many... will they be that hard to listen to? Unfortunately, I don't remember well the little I've heard.

In my opinion, all these electronic and black scenes that are emerging end up as I've said before... they don't have the time to truly grow... I still agree with erprospero.

I honestly don't root for anyone.. I just say that some I like and others I don't, as I believe you do too, Prospero.. and I understand, despite my young age, what you're saying.. after that, going from this to saying there's musical flatness like in the '80s is quite a jump.. in my opinion, the '80s also had their great bands.. the merit, in my opinion, was in bringing to the surface the valuable underground of the '80s.. then, unfortunately, once the majors understood the trend, they jumped onto the scene, not leaving enough time for many bands to grow gradually like they used to back then.. so now we're left with a lot of crap because bands may make a good first album but by the second, due to inexperience, they don't know how to move and end up making crap... all of this is just my humble opinion.
