Finding a De André album that isn't a 5 is truly a daunting task...

For me, Led Zeppelin are definitely among the top 5 greatest bands of all time, and very likely in the top 3. Metal wouldn't be the same without Led: "..the incredible accelerations of Page in the solos, followed by a devastating rhythm section able to keep up with his wild runs. This musical pattern will influence all of metal.." I completely agree. "The most influential band is Iron Maiden. Everything that exists today comes from them, LEGENDARY STEVE." Well, Iron Maiden is by far my favorite metal band, and I still think they are the most important metal band ever, but in absolute terms (i.e. metal, rock, hard rock, grunge, etc.), it seems bold to say they are the most important band of all time. Personally, though, I would place them among the top 15 of all time...

Hi Hardrock92... well, Steven Tyler performed with his leg in a cast, broken after falling off his motorcycle! Anyone else would have canceled the concert: but that’s a tornado, nothing can stop him! As for "imitating" his voice, I advise against it: I managed to sing entirely and quite well "Road Runner," "Eyesight to the Blind," and "Baby Please Don't Go" (all from the amazing cover album, "Honkin' on Bobo"), obviously at a lower pitch. Only trouble is, that’s when the disaster struck: having pushed hard on the high notes (but I was so happy and excited to have nailed them!), and straining my voice for too long, I developed a problem with my vocal cords, and I’ve had it for quite a while now. After summer, I think I’ll see a specialist; I suspect it’s corditis or some other inflammation of the cords (I don’t want to think about tears and thus surgery), which can be resolved with antibiotics. I can no longer sing well, and it weighs heavily on me: music and singing are essential to me. Ah, by the way, for range, power, and timbre, I think I’ve found someone who is on the same level as Mr. Tyler: Michael Matijevic, the former singer of Steelheart who provides the voice for Mark Wahlberg in the film Rockstar: if you don’t know him, give him a listen; he's a monster like I’ve never heard before (although compared to Steven Tyler, he definitely has less charisma, which is a quality I appreciate a lot).

Well, now try to imagine if tonight, out of the blue, it were to be revealed that Steven Tyler is dying of cancer. After his death, rest assured that his "figure" would reach almost divine levels like Elvis Presley... "In terms of voice, Steven Tyler is, in my opinion, the best rock singer today." Absolutely: he's my favorite.. :-)
