NOOOO!! BUT IT'S STILL NOT OUT!!!! well, but the review is good...
Anyway: I listened to On the backs over and over since it was officially released: not a single break, one melody, something stayed in my head... nothing! Actually, yes, one thing stuck with me: LaBrie's voice has reached irritating levels of monotony; if these are the premises, Mangini or no Mangini, it seems this album won't stray far from the trend of recent years...

"This is the Total 'Heavy Metal' record" <-- but also no, as beautiful as it is
Toxic Holocaust Conjure and Command

I had written it in a review of Hardcore Superstar, I think... anyway, I repeat here: these revival-thrash bands don't inspire me one bit; on the other hand, the potato and onion omelette is very good.
Opeth The Devil's Orchard: Live at Rock Hard Festival 2009

I listened to the new single and... it didn't say much to me; I hope the rest of Heritage is better. However, I would say their live performance is not up for debate...
Slough Feg Hardworlder

I don't know why, but I've always been wary of them, to the point of never having listened to even one of their tracks... I repeat, I don't know why; the (excellent) review almost convinced me to give them a chance.
Anathema Falling Deeper
Voto:
I appreciate Anathema a lot in their second "atmospheric" phase, while I've never been able to digest them in their original gothic/doom form. I might try to listen to it, who knows if the new arrangement will make me appreciate these tracks... (but I'll postpone the listening for a while, Anathema, for me, shine best on gray and rainy autumn days)
Hardcore Superstar Split Your Lip
Voto:
The usual assignment done properly, without particular variations from the formula they've practically found since the namesake... regarding the anachronistic image, it's true; however, when it comes to the '80s revival, the hard rock/glam bands are the ones I personally enjoy listening to the most, unlike the "new-thrash old school"; I don’t know, it seems to me that in this genre there can't be significant musical innovations, the formula is always the same, so bands like HC and others don’t seem out of time to me...
Red Hot Chili Peppers I'm With You
Voto:
No, well, excuse me... just to say that from this position and down by 5 at home it's really very nice. They now irritate me: I swear I still haven't managed to listen to the new single in full, I switch stations before...
Tesla Into The Now

The Teslas! Great guys but also very underrated. With them, I’m stuck in the first part of their career; I haven’t listened to anything from the reunion yet :( I need to fix that, first because they are among my favorite hard rock bands, second because I hear a lot of good things about this comeback everywhere; by the way, I think a new acoustic album in the style of "Five Men..." has recently been released...
