I like MIKA; I find him a good artist, someone who knows how to stand out from the mass of repugnant pop that some shady characters serve us every day through that cesspool of MTV or on the radio. A review that is basically empty, too focused on the tracks and too little on the stylistic choices and the history of the album and the author. What a pity.

Exalted album, pointless review.

Nice record, comprehensive review. But I really like "Foreign affair"... I don't know, it's a matter of tastes.

Vic Sorriso, you've said too much bullshit, now get educated a bit and stop being a pain in the ass. Shitty record. Review that deserves to be depicted in the "Mythological Anthology of DeBaser Reviews."

A rather short and uninformative review. I prefer Camerini in "Rock 'n' roll robot" or "Tanz ballerina" from 1982, but I don't mind this album either. A child of its time.

Beautiful: an intelligent, constructive album, lovely to listen to and as light as air.

I completely agree with your review. What a terrible movie. The only redeeming part is the set design. For the rest: wooden actors, bland direction, bad taste, and clichés galore. What a disappointing blow for, despite everything, the talented Burton.

Not to mention the complete lack of directorial style. I had to grind a bit to realize that the London depicted was under a dictatorship. I hadn’t noticed; it seemed normal to me. The subtle criticism of the church that lingers in the background is just a pretext to fill a story lacking in substance with unnecessary critique. And then what was the point of blowing up the Houses of Parliament? Who knows...

A film that disappointed me greatly, from every point of view. The ideological attempts are admirable but it lacks concrete substance and real action (not to mention a bit of healthy and rightful irony). A missed opportunity. And I tend to emphasize that not everyone enjoys anarchy (starting with me). And if it's true that the primary purpose of a film is to entertain and amuse the audience (as Shakespeare taught us very well), this little film fails miserably, showcasing a soporific, boring, and tasteless didactic/encyclopedic segment.
