Honestly, this is a band that has never said anything to me at all, especially since after just two albums they started to sound sterile (but maybe I'm being too drastic). Great "Irreligious" and "Wolfheart," but then comes a series of albums (five, to be precise) that... I don’t know, they just exist, and that's it. The latest "Night Eternal" is at least a little more interesting.

I have listened to Opeth hundreds, if not thousands of times. I’ve listened to them thoroughly from A to Z... But in the end, the album I enjoy the most, the one that keeps me glued to the player from the first to the last note, the one that never gets old, the one I listen to in the car, on the train, and at home, is always this one. Magnificent, probably the most sincere and spontaneous of the group, and maybe for this very reason the rawest and "unrefined." 5.

A wave of nostalgia hits me when I play TR (especially 2 and 3) that’s almost inexplicable. I could replay the levels in Venice/Bartoli’s Hideout/Opera, or the Jungle/Temple Ruins/Ganges River/Kaliya Caves endlessly. And then in Venice, when I hear the little music that starts while you’re on the speedboat... :'((
