It's easy to explain, Maiden, despite their global success, remain for a few, because either you love them or you hate them. The numbers are relative; the 55 (or 80, as some say) million copies sold were achieved without radio and television airplay, and without the support of the intellectual critics (and in the last 20 years, even without the support of the less intellectual ones). They relied solely on word of mouth and the loyalty of their fans (who, for some reason, continue to increase, and here I immediately refute a rumor: it's not true that Maiden are for kids; they are discovered when young, but then 90% carry them through life... magic... I would explain why, but it's difficult). Therefore, they are among those bands that move forward only through their own strength, and this is a source of pride... even for me...

@Dave: if you say that, you're just giving a compliment.. to them and to those who listen. ;-)

@Corona: I'm doing even better, I'm a public employee one of those lazy and rude ones, not like you who has to hustle making deals on the street...

If that's the case, I'll vent: The Maiden are artistically unreachable, and Zappa and Beefheart have only done crazy crap.
