Great record, and excellent review. You should appreciate the sincerity... good thing you chose not to mention the iconography... even though it was well-written, the review already felt too long to me. Do you live in that house? Really original, where is it located?

Portofino, gosh, isn’t it close to the Cinque Terre? I’ve been there once; they are wonderful places, lucky you.

@bjorky dear, if it fits with my commitments, I would be more than happy to. But I’ll only be able to say for sure in September.

@Flinstone and odradek, what comments. Believe me, I say this without malice, but if you made them a bit shorter, I would read them more willingly. You also say sensible things, but what a struggle... why not split them into groups? (Just kidding)

bjorky, I agree with you about Queen. I would love to become your friend; I am from Rome but I live in Brianza near Milan. By any chance, are you from this area too?
Joe Cocker Civilized Man

Three stars are already too many. I would like someone to review Mad Dogs & The Englishmen, and No Ordinary World, which in my opinion are his most valid albums, along with Organic.
Joe Cocker Organic
Voto:
One of his best albums in terms of song selection, above all, Into The Mystic, although I prefer the version by Van Morrison, and High Lonesome Blue, a beautiful ballad with a bluesy flavor. Bye Bye Blackbird is also good. You didn't mention the last two... or am I mistaken about the album?
Joe Cocker Unchain my heart
Voto:
One of Cocker's lesser albums, the only noteworthy songs are Unchain my Heart and All Our Tomorrow. My favorite albums are Mad Dogs & The Englishmen and Organic. Cocker built his career on covers. However, the originals are almost always to be preferred, even if the sumptuous arrangements with an extensive use of backing vocals have a good effectiveness.

No, it's not serious; I feel the same way too.

I don't know this record, but the most talented of Husker Du has also impressed on his own.
