Well, I've always considered Plant's voice to be that of a shouter disguised as a woman, a Janis Joplin who just came out of a sanatorium and lost 30kg... With all due respect to the character, after 3-4 songs, Zeppelin tires me out, and sometimes I have more fun with Noddy Holder from Slade who could even outshine Robert Plant in terms of range... I can't handle a whole album of the Zep, just like the Purple, even though they’re tough and loud musicians... Jimmy Page is great, but he’s also a great thieving plagiarist; I prefer Jeff Beck. What can I say, I prefer the old Yardbirds over the thefts and plagiarisms of Jimmy Page with Zeppelin... Golden times, when the gallinacci sang PaffBum with Lucio Dalla. And they screamed less. And plagiarized even less.
