Wham! Make It Big
Voto:
I believe the reevaluation of the '80s is due to the fact that, in terms of commercial pop, we are doing quite a bit worse today. Come on, guys, those who were called Duran Duran back then are now called Ricky Martin (who, to be fair, is already out of fashion), Giustino Travedilago Timberlake, Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, or, if we’re being generous, Maroon 5. I don’t know about you, but if I were forced to choose between "Make It Big" and any nonsense from Aguilera, well...

Beautiful review. Great album, but not a masterpiece.

Well, it's not like you gave many 1s, let's say a string of 2s, alright...

I don’t understand a damn thing about cinema, and that’s well known. That said, I’d like to understand the necessity of this slew of 1. With just a few bucks, Verhoeven made a masterpiece, prophetic, "intelligently violent" and captivating. Peter Weller, notoriously a semi-mediocre actor, is monstrously good. In 1987, Verhoeven managed to sense what the near future would be like (if you watch the film considering it was made almost 21 years ago, it gives you chills), something that today’s hyper-pumped and super-produced American blockbusters can only dream of. 5 all the way. And it’s even better than Terminator. Take that.

The first one is great. The second one is sufficient. I need to hear this. And the review is okay.

No, slim, come a guitarist he’s got the skills. But being a great MUSICIAN doesn’t mean being a great ARTIST. And Clapton is from another planet, let’s be clear.

In my opinion, the true masterpiece remains "In Utero," but this is still a wonderful album. To deny it is to be deaf to reality... I won't vote on the review because it's clearly copied.
