Great review. I will enjoy the album as soon as I buy the ORIGINAL, because I consider them one of the greatest Italian bands ever, one of the few to combine commercial success with top-notch quality. Charlie Fa Surf is an amazing single. @DjMushroom: if you assess Bianconi's songwriting skills from Bruci La Città, you’re off track. I will savor them live at the Viper in March.

Torn was copied, but just exactly the same. I don't remember from whom, though.

Indeed, dear Flood, the most interesting notes are precisely Visconti's production and this supposed approach to prog, even if the English bands sometimes express intentions that they don't actually carry out in practice. Nice definition of "a more pop version of Evil Heat," I could have thought of that for the review... :D

Yes Zion, it’s true, some pieces (I’m thinking especially of Totem On The Timeline) are purely guitar-driven.

Mmhh, three failed attempts? I don't want to discourage you, but I believe it's a group that, if it doesn't appeal on the first listens, goodbye! Anyway, give it another shot, you might be luckier. :)

If it were just a one-year problem, Alessio. I haven't gotten tired more or less since 1992... :D

How nice, a year as a Debaseriano. Thanks to everyone for the de-wishes (is that how you say it?). Let's get to the point. @Boyintheocean: I'll tell you something. It's true, NME often shoots in the dark, but it doesn't just put out trash. At least, that's my opinion. At least in England, unlike Italy, there's a culture of promoting emerging talent. Better to have too many than too few, just to be clear. @Daft85: if you only know the singles, don't pay too much attention to Golden Skans, it has nothing to do with the rest of the album even though it's the most popular.

I heard Ready For The Floor on the radio and I don't like it, I will listen to the album.

I remember them for just one song that ended up in a commercial, that kind of fake punk-rock chart music; back then, I preferred Zebrahead.
