It seems to me that the Dead Kennedys were also part of the anarcho scene, and even the peggiopunx (not me, the band!!), had ideas that I really admire. Anarchism was understood as peace, not violence; moreover, many of them were vegetarians, advocates of do it yourself, and absolutely against bands like the Sex Pistols and The Clash, which were puppets at the service of the majors...

For me, the best of the first wave (apart from the Ramones) are the Buzzcocks (Manchester), the Damned in England are as famous as the Pistols and the Clash... you must have their first record, Damned Damned Damned, which contains gems like New Rose and Neat Neat Neat.
