not to make bullshit speeches...but tony iommi with a guitar in hand and thinking about what came after is as influential as hendrix...then there are a myriad of guitarists who don’t play a single solo, but who are absolute monsters and do things in terms of harmonies that van halen couldn't even imagine, even guided by the hand of god. speaking of tapping...can it be useful to music? yes...take the guitarist from Hella!
