However, I really liked STP, quite a lot, because they were chameleonic... then it doesn't seem to me that Mudhoney are in good shape: they were until "Since We've Become Translucent" but if you've listened to the last album... Why didn't Mudhoney become stars? Because for Mark Arm and the others, the world was Seattle (and maybe it really was back then) and only Seattle, and being a rockstar in a mink coat (not even that of the Black Crowes) on the streets of Seattle was the most one could ask for AT THAT TIME. The thing is, times change quickly, grunge is also made by Californian bands, then Irish ones, then Italian ones, clones infest the world and there’s no trace of Mudhoney (and Green River). Today, Mudhoney are listened to by early aficionados and "archaeologists" of rock music when they set out to "explore" grunge civilization. Even if they will never be re-evaluated by the masses, they will nonetheless never be forgotten by the experts.

I'm definitely getting this record. If it resembles a third of how you described it, that's already good enough for me.

But how is God pronounced in English? DIO or DAIO?
