women of Sardinia I like too, and quite a bit. the song about the ass that the great Dane has the ass and the gardener has the ass is stuff from pippo franco without andreotti to recommend him. however, the song by gonnario (do you know it?) the imbriagone is charming. in general, the character is pathetic and his songs are pretty much crap. much better is the sicilian brigantony (try to believe) from the endless discography, and who knows how many others still, from region to region.

they make music that's too old... '80s hair metal and horror metal in the style of Alice Cooper... it's funny to notice how these monsters are the least alcoholic stuff in Scandinavian metal. someone like the singer of Turbonegro wipes the floor with all of them. not to mention brutal and doom, there are other masked ones like Satyricon who devour them for breakfast... after all, twenty years later, their music is pop: they even won the Eurofestival, like Toto Cutugno!

But why do you write reviews? I mean: why do you block my work? I've been listening to this record for two days and I thought I had finally done the picture right!

Holy moly, it was a review I had in mind to write after Tanita Tikaram... the review is completely different from what I intended to write, but D'Arby was bursting with pure talent.

My father's favorite singer hasn't managed to make me hate him because he appears rarely and because he has quite a nice voice.

My favorites of grunge, however, are the Screaming Trees. Does that name seem worthy?

Donjunio, Mellon Collie was released on October 24, 1995: basically, in '96. That's why I don't define it as a '95 project. Regarding Corgan, I've never understood him... I really liked some tracks from the first album, then all of Siamese Dream (great album), and then I struggled to understand in what direction Corgan was taking with Mellon Collie... towards Cobain's throne legacy (Bullet with...)? towards Pink Floyd? towards alt rock? towards art-rock? towards Sabbath? towards Joy Division? towards Queen? towards Britpop for dandies? towards folk? towards the Electric Light Orchestra? I appreciated Corgan until Mellon Collie, but I didn't comprehend him. In my opinion, the step he took was in the direction of megalomania, and that doesn't necessarily lead to good music. Today, you pick up magazines that sell records, and you find Mellon Collie costing less than Siamese Dream, and that means something.

Supersoul: I spoke about Santa Monica: I described it as a grunge not to mosh but to dance to. I wanted to write a second review to explain that, in my opinion, what concerns the unfortunate one in question is not just mannerism and ranking manipulation, and that, although not much, there were some values in his music, in his own way. That's all. And then from 94 to 96 I didn't find much better in the charts than them. Obviously, there should have been something much better in the charts, but they, among everything that was there, seemed to me to be among the least bad. That's all. Thank you for your patience.

Exactly: what a nonsense it was to see the grunge lovers (the mainstream radio/MTV kind) rush to buy the Cranberries' album just for the video of Zombie and a bit of guitars. Yet the audience of Nirvana, in desperate withdrawal from catchy grunge, rushed to get it. Just like they rushed to buy Bush, or in other words, Nirvana's music with Eddie Vedder on vocals. Exactly what I've said, Oceansize. Do you see that when you decide to reflect, you are (partially) able to understand what people mean when they speak in your language? They are proud of you. Too bad you called it nonsense: in other words, nonsense would be my beliefs, which coincidentally match yours. Nonsense what I say, which is the same as what you say. Therefore, according to you, you are talking nonsense.

oh no, guys, I don't agree: this is an intelligent glam record. yes, okay, there's no trace of the rebellious Anderson from the early days, nor that minimal-pleased-somber vibe from Coming Up, but Uncle Glam really appreciates Head Music.
