If I may interject in this interesting discussion, I think you both have valid arguments, but in the end, I'm with Iside: I don't really like Queen, but you can't say they suck! Also, I'm a communist and I listen to CCCP, but not because they're communists! If I like something, I like it even if it's fascist! (But we all know that there are few good things about them. P.S. Then they say that culture is in the hands of the left, sure because culture is leftist and vice versa.) Also, I hate posers, but if they make good music (unlikely), why shouldn't I like them? ... sorry...
