Good review and nice attempt at "revisionism".. I don’t hate this album either; I like the sound, the spontaneity, and some tracks are really solid (Dodo/Lurker above all).. It's a shame there are some ridiculous parts and some songs that it's a compliment to call fillers.. Oh well, the Genesis are also this and I'm okay with it.. The problem is that this record wasn't just nonsense, because over the years they’ve managed to do even worse..

Finally, and I mean finally, a complete and thorough review of Wind and Wuthering. Finally, it’s noted that this album comes after A Trick Of The Tail; finally, it’s remembered that after this record Steve leaves the band. Finally, a track by track with all the masterpieces highlighted. And finally, it’s acknowledged that the Genesis will change their sound afterwards. Finally!

Finally, a reviewer who explains the formation of Queen to me and describes the album cover.. How nice..

Why shouldn't you consider "From Genesis To Revelation"? Sorry for being blunt, but forget it: you're not saying anything new and what you do say is poorly expressed. If you want to write something about Genesis, do it by bringing new and interesting opinions, not the usual tired clichés. Or go ahead and keep writing, but at least make us laugh, otherwise it's so boring. And where the hell is the Tarantino-esque?

Useless review of an epoch-making album..
Matt Groening Futurama

The review is a bit too heavy and slow.. It could use a bit more flair to describe this masterpiece.. For me, it’s the best depiction of the future ever made, packed with truly outrageous ideas.. The characters are incredibly well done (especially Bender, Mom, and that idiot Zap Brannigan); in some ways, it’s superior to The Simpsons, which are more schematic and a bit more "rough".. Hats off also for certain "sentimental" episodes, really touching and well executed..

Game... How many nights of effort to get to that damn Complex Lambda... The second one, on the other hand, incredibly disappointed and bored me...

It's an immortal film, but I give it four just because I think the second part is much weaker than the first. Needless to say, the scenes with Feldman are the best. "Which hump?"
A review with decent content but with unwatchable Italian..

I really like this album.. Regardless of the (terrible) '80s and the glories of the '70s, I find a lot of good stuff here.. Many inspired pieces, the sound is definitely improved compared to the past (well done Nick Davis) and above all, there's a return to those long tracks that made their fortune.. I find Driving The Last Spike and Dreaming While You Sleep astonishing, but the masterpiece is Fading Lights, a true and moving epitaph for Genesis that touches me every time.. There's also undeniably good pop, even if the fillers are bulky and often annoying.. For me, Since I Lost You gives me diabetes more than it makes me cry, just like some silly ballads like Never A Time or trifles like Way Of The World.. Overall, for me it's a more or less successful album.. Strange by the way, "the CD starts with the first song.." damn, and where have we ever seen such a thing??

Great review, well-written, reasoned, and timely.. On the album, I don't share your cautious enthusiasm: I've tried multiple times, but the remarkable ideas and gems are buried under a layer of preciousness, pomposity, and such heavy-baroque pachydermism that it becomes unbearable for me.. I prefer the Yes from the leaner (and already somewhat heavy) Relayer.. Losing the measure is painful: Bruford understood that, Wakeman will pretend to understand it only to later deliver similar kitsch as a solo artist.. One extra point because they are still Yes..
