In some areas of Northern Europe, Father Christmas is still traditionally associated with the iconography of Bishop Saint Nicholas, complete with mitre and staff; all the better, I've always detested the Coca-Cola Christmas iconography, with that chubby old man hugging children and laughing sardonically as if he were high. Basically, the Americans have robbed us of our traditions and sent them back molded in their own image and likeness. What a bummer.

Live, this lineup was incredible, and this great bootleg is here to prove it. Well, yes, "Who Dunnit?" is one of Banks' favorite tracks (his absolute favorite remains "Duchess"), to the point that he insisted on excluding "Submarine" from ABACAB just to avoid giving up that immense piece of rubbish. Alright, poetic license... Anyway, for me, ABACAB remains a decent album overall, of course not on the (very high) level of Duke.

I will never see it, not to mention that they really annoy me. Laughing at the everyday language and Italian stereotypes is fine, but it doesn’t seem very creative nor does it promise much in the long run. I hope they fizzle out soon. Just because it’s a mirror film of a corrupted society (as someone said), strikes me as a fancy package of bourgeois intellectualism.

I mean, are you kidding me? I hope the birthing scene shows the half-vampire offspring ripping open the belly of the screaming socialite in a deluge of blood! And it turns out that he’s tattooed, and that the couple's son is actually Blade, who kills his father with the epidural needle, marries his mother, and blinds himself to enhance his sensory abilities while fighting in the jungle against an invisible alien... Please tell me this is the plot of the second installment of this crap!
