Lucio Dalla Classica & Jazz

I had seen this online some time ago as a forthcoming release. From what the article was saying, it sounded like an Audio CD, but instead, it's two DVDs! Other than that, I don't know anything else.

I don't remember the film very well, but I do remember the impression it left on me: it seems to me that the characters were all too stereotypical. Is that possible?

I haven't seen the movie, but the review is nice.

@mario1: Between "The Taming of the Shrew" and the various Christmases in Canicattì, there are quite a few differences... I'm already regretting the two about "The Taming of the Shrew".... At least "The Taming of the Shrew" is funny and not vulgar, unlike these that they occasionally serve us on TV. I once watched one on TV, but halfway through I went to bed to rest because it was better...

I have never listened to him. Not even once. At the time, I was only 8 years old.

I saw it a few weeks ago on Sky, then I re-read Heart of Darkness, and I watched it for the second time in my life two days later. A cinematic adaptation of "Heart of Darkness" set in Vietnam, a film that highlights the dark dimension of the human soul (the slow and progressive drift into the amorality of Colonel Kurtz throughout the film). Suddenly, during the viewing, a commercial interruption informs me of some things, including that the helicopters used in the film were borrowed from Colonel Ferdinand Marcos to bomb the rebels (I don’t know where, but the film was shot in the Philippines): I was stunned. Talk about inconsistency. Throughout the film, I was convinced it was a film that also denounced the superficiality of those war operations and that environment ("I love the smell of napalm in the morning," Wagner during the bombings, surfing in that context, killing people for no reason, the boat check scene, Playboy bunnies… etc.) and then I find myself confronted with this information. The fact remains that, regardless of this, it is a beautiful film, a masterpiece, strongly inspired by Conrad's work. Great performances by Marlon Brando and Martin Sheen.
Paolo Rossi In Italia Si Sta Male

Anyway, dEDOLUZ, the review is only about Paolo Rossi and not in comparison with the two Facchinetti or Sanremo. Or, as I think you meant, that out of the 2, because there’s much worse? Lesto, sometimes the interpreter is everything, yes, especially if they're off-key, but it's really the structure of the songs that reminds me of Gaetano, not the interpreter.

Gaetano's imprint is very much felt nonetheless, regardless of the performer.
