I didn't mean to say that they aren't great works; I just wanted someone to recommend a non-alienated, hopeful film. Nothing against Ferreri's works; in fact, I recently watched "Chiedo Asilo," also by Ferreri, although it was marred by poor audio and video quality, and I must say it surprised me. Both for a Benigni who hadn't yet become the "mask of himself," so to speak, and because I expected only grotesque and alienated films from Ferreri, and instead... The former was nonetheless symbolic.

I was just thinking about this movie yesterday, specifically the scene where Napaloni and Hynkel watch the military parade. "You're right, they're really yours."
