Anyway, in the end, we could be here dismantling each other's arguments.

An exclamation point: well, yes... you're right. I contradicted myself, even though I didn't vote for it. I'm going to find it.

I have to agree with you: the ironic undertone of post 26 is forced (we don't know what Lennon would have really done; history is not made with "ifs" and "buts"...), but it doesn't seem appropriate to take it too seriously. However, the last sentence of the post is truly in bad taste and undermines the rest of the post: one does not thank murderers for their criminal acts. Nonetheless, I think and hope it was just an unfortunate slip by Il Paolo.

Here I also make a public apology; I hadn't read all the comments by Il_Paolo. Yes, it's true, he makes moral judgments about the person. But can you explain to me where and when he supports the murder?

and his reviews do not have anti-artistic intents.

Debaser is the realm of presumption. You meet people who judge Genesis albums as mediocre without ever having listened to them, others who would like to deny others the right to express their thoughts: "they wouldn't even have the right to talk about what is significant or not in music, so I won't even waste time reading your arguments which will surely be insignificant," written by someone who writes "perciò" with an apostrophe...
Here, there's a tide of individuals who feel they have the truth in their pocket, who know what "true" art and "true" music are. For these individuals, what they listen to is divine music, while what others listen to is "crap," especially if it's pop and/or commercial. Oh yes, from the trash music they listen to, it becomes clear in some way that they are obviously lobotomized, mediocre people in life, people who vote for Berlusconi, empty, superficial, the mirror of today’s society, which is in deep trouble, insignificant, etc... etc... And it goes on like this until reality is mystified and words are twisted to adhere to one's own ideology or mental scheme.
The same goes for literature and cinema.
Paolo never said it was right for John Lennon to be killed, and his reviews lack artistic intent. Did he ever say that "2001: A Space Odyssey" is a terrible film?
As for the last comment I’m reading now (number 49, just to be clear), it reveals the poor disposition of bilquis towards listening: he starts off with the concept that he is right and that others must necessarily be wrong, treating his interlocutor from a position of superiority (Your arguments are insignificant). How much arrogance! Who are you to determine the weight of another's arguments before even reading them?
Il_Paolo does an excellent job. Many should remember that without the ugly, we wouldn't appreciate the beautiful, and that even the ugly can contain, whether by reflection or not, good points for reflection.
Forgive my outburst.
Ah, I don’t think I’ll listen to the album, given that from how Shooting Star described it, it must be half junk. Actually, a total piece of junk.
I’m going to click “vote and comment”: I’ll face the consequences…
