OleEinar, what the Captain told you, but also "Damn The Torpedoes" or "Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers" "Hard Promises" "Into The Great Wide Open" "Wildflowers" as you can see there are many and I haven't even mentioned them all. A nice collection like "Trough The Years" (3 cd) or "Playback" (6 cd) get straight to the point.

@OleEinar, which one by Morrison? For me, the best are "Astral Weeks," "Moondance," and "Into the Music," of which I don't think there's even a review on DeBaser. But it's pretty much on the same level as the other two I've mentioned. Then, there are many other great tracks scattered here and there across the various albums... "Saint Dominic's Preview," etc. Melissa rightly pointed out that Petty is a great arranger, but Van is certainly no slouch either.

I really liked this film; I consider it the best by Salvatores along with Turnè. I like the part of the review that begins: The film has a particular grace...

@OleEinar, good job, and while you're at it, listen well to those 2-3 Van Morrison songs too, even though (I believe) all the songs are beautiful. @Capitano, I wrote 15, just because I wanted to keep it low-key. Bye.

Bjorky, I too have wondered what happened to azzo. As for A Petty, I've already expressed my opinion more than once; he is one of the greatest artists of the last 30 years. Besides the 4 songs he played, he has written at least another fifteen songs of the same caliber.

@...CAZ... we had an email exchange, can you please update me? (Also via DeBaser)

I saw it and it didn't excite me. There's humor, but in my opinion, it would have been better without it.

Elio and Le Storie Tese are often compared to the Skiantos, but in my opinion, Elio goes beyond, much beyond. A great in his genre.

And in Monterey, let's not forget Otis Redding's performance. But the best interpretation of his stunning "I Can't Turn You Loose" was at the Whiskey a Go Go, 6 minutes of ecstasy for him caught up in the performance, but also for those who had the pleasure of listening to it.

He is right, but I don't agree with him when he claims that Brussels Affair is the best live album by the Stones, even though Midnight Rambler is out of this world.
