Albert King & Otis Rush Door To Door
Voto:
I mentioned Albert King just a few days ago in the review of Hendrix, saying he was one of my favorite bluesmen. Otis Rush is also a bit of a legend, and both have influenced blues revival guitarists (Eric Clapton, Bloomfield, etc). I have about twenty records between the two, and I'll definitely add this one as well. Great review.

Alkaline Trio Agony And Irony

In recent years, it's the pop punk group I prefer. I don't have this album, I've read other reviews as well, and I'll get it as soon as possible.

Joel & Ethan Coen Fratello, dove sei?
Voto:
In my opinion, the Coen brothers have made at least 5 films that are better than this one. 3.5
Jimi Hendrix Blues

But I probably wouldn't have traveled 700 km to see it in Zurich many years ago.
Jimi Hendrix Blues
Voto:
Everyone knows "Stairway To Heaven," is "Taurus" by Spirit; to understand how similar they are, just listen to them. "Whole Lotta Love" was copied from "You Need Love," and because of this plagiarism, Page had to grant a lifetime pension to Willie Dixon. Hendrix also reworked "All Along The Watchtower," but the album credits it to Bob Dylan. (By the way, I believe Dylan stated it was the only cover he thought was better than the original.) If Page had just credited the songs to their true authors, he wouldn't have raised such a fuss and would still have been considered a great musician because his plagiarisms are better than the originals.
