Tobe Hooper The Texas Chainsaw Massacre

Nice review, but I liked the film less than Un tranquillo week-end di paura, which both fall into the "rural horror" genre. I haven't seen The Hills Have Eyes by Wes Craven, but I know some of his later films, Nightmare and Scream 2, which I find definitely ugly.

In a d-shirt, I believe that if Kubrick had been able to direct A.I. - Artificial Intelligence, it would have been much better than the one directed by Spielberg, which I think deserves little more than a passing grade.

I'm using a record by a guitarist I love very much to tell you that I've also replied to your comment on Shining. Bye.

Aniel, I mentioned Stephen King in the comments, and as for the overly-summary recap, I’ll copy and paste one of my comments: I’m already kicking myself for revealing how it ends. I should have just hinted at the axe scene and not revealed that the chef gets killed; finally, I should have just said that the film finds its resolution in the maze and concluded with the photo. The strength of the film lies precisely in its portrayal of the madness that gradually creeps into Torrance, and I feel I have talked enough about the supernatural element.

M.Poletti, I correct myself. In the interview I listened to, Spielberg was perhaps not referring to the steadycam, but to the dolly.

Tabba in a t-shirt, if Kubrick was so wary of Spielberg, considering him (sly, Kubrick was right about that) then why did he ideally pass the torch to him to direct the last film he had in mind to make? I'm referring to A.I. - Artificial Intelligence.

M. Poletti Spielberg did not use black and white, just like the steadycam, because he wanted to get rid of anything that could make the film more pleasant; in his opinion, a color film was more enjoyable.
Buffalo Springfield Buffalo Springfield
Voto:
Buffalo Springfield, great Buffalo Springfield, setting aside the legends of the '50s, like the Creedence... they were one of the bands I loved the most in my youth. (I noticed that you have tastes quite similar to mine)

It's not five stars, but it's still a nice album.
