johnwinston why banal? I listen to it and think: damn this album is a masterpiece, there's nothing to prove. What I had to say about Pink I’ve already said a million times, now enough, I won’t say anything more.

This album is stunning, despite obvious stylistic differences from the first one. If Waters played golf, I couldn't care less. I buy records to listen to the music; what they do outside the recording studio is their business. I don't know any musician who plays just to make people happy; everyone does it for money too, some not just for money but also for those.

I read the last lines, and I want to add that what the Pistols said and did has no credibility since they were puppets in the hands of their manager Malcolm McLaren; everything they did and said aimed solely to create scandal. However, in terms of musical talent, they had very little; there are dozens of Punk bands that are better than the Pistols.

Arnold Layne in A Saucerful of Secrets... Barrett is present with a song (I believe), among other things, it’s not even one of his best. In this sea of words, it seems to me that the reviewer doesn’t like Waters, so I want to remind him that if it weren’t for him, there wouldn’t be any Pink Floyd, because they would have stopped after the first album, which is certainly very Barrett-esque... let's say. If Syd filled himself with all kinds of junk until he became unmanageable, it’s certainly not Waters' fault, who, starting from the beautiful second album, took charge of the situation without making anyone miss the gems. Since I have the entire Pink Floyd discography, I can also make a list of the masterpieces tagged by Waters... I assure you, there are many.

Of progressive rock (as I pictured Catapilla after reading the review), I only know the most famous ones: Emerson, Lake & Palmer, Genesis, the jazz rock of Soft Machine, Van der Graaf Generator, King Crimson, Yes, Caravan...

Sorry, but when there are too many words, I get lost. I probably agree with you since you gave it 2 stars.

On the levels of the first Pink Floyd. Waters is one of the best songwriters I know.

The best album by Pink Floyd, one of the most beautiful of the last 50 years. A review that's too long, I haven't read it.

Great movie, and Edwards is a fantastic director. Last night I watched Leaving Las Vegas with Nicolas Cage and Elisabeth Shue, in my opinion Shue deserved the Oscar, what do you think?

Really a nice album.
