Very nice review.
Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds Push The Sky Away

It's a slow record, definitely different from what I would have expected. The bad seeds, understood as the driving force of the songs, are missing in some respects. Cave is alone this time, and if it weren't for the inspiration present here, the album wouldn't hold up. It requires time, but as far as I'm concerned, it gets better with each listen. I can't wait to hear it at Primavera in May.

the last one was already very good, perhaps even something more. I'm already looking for this one, but I haven't figured out if it's available online or if it has just been released..

Reading the first comments, I squinted, seriously wondering whether I was on Debaser or not. As for the review, it must be said that at least it respects the principles, "reviews written by those who want." I would write a recipe, but I can't cook.

I share what has come out from some comments: extramusical. At the end of the day, now there are people like this around, the story of hipsters, it seems to me like an attitude that overshadows the musical aspect. And this, if we want, is a novelty, in a sense: music that, to be such, imposes irony on itself as a stylistic hallmark at the expense of any semblance of composition. For me, they are like a joke that only makes you laugh once; to follow them, you have to be an idiot. As useful as "i soliti idioti."

an endless pile of crap, and let's add that I had to sit through it at one in the morning. There’s little need for justification; just watch it. But since I don't wish ill on anyone in particular, the film is unwatchable because: the quartet of main actors is expressionless, glossy, and completely devoid of any erotic-subversive charge; "the road" in the title could be any provincial road in the outskirts of Milan; the film has no script, the pivotal scenes are absent, and the emphasis is unnecessarily placed on the supposed transgressiveness of what’s staged (the homo scenes, group sex); in the end, it merely represents the lengthy process of digestion of the beat generation by America, and after digestion, there's always a nice turd; save your money, in short.

It might be a super masterpiece, but I've stopped with this stuff. I won't touch it again.

good review, however it seems to me that since 1984, there has been a lot of writing and rewriting on the subject. in this regard, I absolutely recommend "nova express" by W. S. Burroughs, one of my all-time favorite novels.

This review is really nice. I hadn't seen one in a while; maybe I have vision problems. Anyway, at a certain point, you say that reviews are meant for those who have already listened to the album, and I agree, but having never considered Conte's early works until now, I must say you've made me want to give it a listen. Useful beyond your intentions.

there was that other super famous Teutonic group inspired by Kyuss: I listened to them for a while and then I put the Texans back on. I mean, as long as the Kyuss records don’t sound off (eheh), I don’t see why I should look for substitutes. Even Monster Magnet don't do it for me. Anyway, the review is cool, I’ll lend it an ear.
