Good times when Verhoeven in Holland was having fun with pulp thrillers like 'The Fourth Man' or making his debut in the USA with the gruesome romanticism of 'Love and Blood'... This one is somewhat cute, see the invisible scientist who is now crazy (but not stupid..) who harasses the pretty neighbor - pure voyeuristic Verhoeven that titillates the piglet in us - but the ending ruins everything. It will surely please Kevin Bacon fans, as every film is good for showcasing the masses. :D
