In fact, I also would have given 5 stars to Mente Sporca, but then what about the others? "1999," "Purple Rain," "Parade," "Sign'O'The Times," and "Lovesexy" would be jealous. Let's say 4.5 then. And anyway, it's absolutely a must-have.

Yes, all right, you all have a point, but I would say Soundgarden plus Zeppelin + Sabbath (if we want to be down-to-earth..), but I see AIC's sound more influenced by Guns N' Roses (that Cantrell liked a lot) plus Metallica. Cheers.

Pathetic, liposuctioned, old hooker. And watch out, because the much-hyped "Ray Of Light" (thanks to which many reevaluated this poor man's Cindy Lauper) was just a well-produced bluff, as usual.

But this is better than the pimp ‘Cease to begin’, Purpulan.. A little indie-rock classic, light as a feather in the wind. I harshly contest the phrase "..it's a Rock album that fits into that 80s New Wave vein of the early U2 or Duran Duran, which has brought no small fortune to some of the best indie-rock bands in recent years like The Killers or Arcade Fire..", generic and inconclusive.

Eh, now it's the Sensi's fault. If they let him escape... And when will he have the chance to sell to someone like that again?
I foresee a hot, hot, hottest summer at Villa Pacelli.

Flying disc. The sound square as a granite boulder, & dynamic like a baseball, of the metropolis in agony. Desperate, unique, epoch-making; but the labels here don’t matter at all. Unfortunately, Davis & co. will later be more pathetic than the impotent "19Lengths."
