Once there was a fierce legion of REM fans here, but now that Debasio has taken this turn, half sixties and half alternative 80s/soul, I doubt they will rush here to throw tomatoes at you (which is usually your aim when you write). Maybe only DeMa, who I believe is the last one left. Anyway, I liked this, as Kloo pointed out some time ago, you're not pissing outside the bowl. I’ve never heard the album; I'm stuck with the one from '96 when it comes to REM, but I'm neither a devotee nor a fan. I don't agree on Document; for me, it's really good, even though I understand what you mean. Stipe, the janitor from ITIS, made me crack up :D
