I need to make a small clarification; I don't know if you meant it that way: Pet Sounds was conceived as a response to Rubber Soul, not to Revolver. When Revolver was released, Brian Wilson was working on an appropriate reply, which never materialized: at the subsequent release of Sgt. Pepper, Wilson mentally sank, feeling the unbearable weight of the work done by the "rivals."

Regarding the character, I believe that Harrison was the most "monocorde" (if I may use the term) of the four, or rather three (Ringo belongs to a different discussion). Both for his singing style and for his songs as such (although "Something" and "Here Comes the Sun" would suggest otherwise). I haven't listened to the album.

Guys, but has the literary cases section just opened? I only noticed yesterday that it exists.

Well Zanna, I saw the movie, and unfortunately, they seemed to be in a pretty steep decline. I was stunned when I heard the intro to "Rock N' Roll" (simply amazing) and then saw Plant singing as if he had a stick up his ass... and even Page seemed a bit too spaced out in his solos.

Dear Adriano, I don’t understand when you say that I’m not registered. I’ve also written a few reviews, if that counts. My frustration comes from seeing people who, just because they are considered "superior," can write any nonsense and always get a 5, no matter what. Anyway, I don’t really care about joining this club; I’d rather stay out of it.

The track by track is always a bit tedious, but this time it's almost less so than usual. Detailed, never two mistakes reported above lower the rating.

Well Luigi, I must say that you write well and I like the fact that you try to re-evaluate the "Italian product." I believe that soon you'll earn a reputation here as the one who suggests little-known records, which most dismiss as unrecoverable. Well done. P.S. Why do you always include a quote at the end of each of your reviews? Cheers.
