THE REVIEW

My first review on DeBaser. I feel compelled to write it because this artist deserves a bit of attention. Not just from the 50 people who were in Villamagna (Chieti) on August 3rd :)
What can I say, I went there by chance. I enter the town's sports field, there's a stage at the far end, and a gap between the audience and the artists. I approach.. they start at that moment. Well, it's a succession of very well-played music, beautiful lyrics, and a lot of, a lot of earth. The soil of Calabria, and Italian soil. References to the stories of emigrants, and to our everyday stories, without clichés. The brass instruments energetically open the CD, with "italiani superstar", which is a greeting to our emigrants and their nostalgia.   Ten more songs follow, where the warmth and color that Voltarelli transmits cheer you up and make you fidget on the car seat :)

If you have the chance to see them live, go because they make music of exceptional quality. And I cannot describe in words what they put under your skin.
