If I have to choose three among them, I say Ride The Lightning, For Whom The Bell Tolls, and Fade To Black, but they are all beautiful. Unmatched and incomparable work. Huge TestAmenT. Definitely less so this collection. Trial By Fire, Sins of Omission, and above all, incredible but true, Souls Of Black, Alone In The Dark, Eerie Inhabitants, and The Legacy are missing. I mean, the most famous and I would say also the most beautiful of the band. It's ridiculous to call this record "Best"!

I also liked the review because it's full of passion! However, I don't agree much... I adore the Priest, but this album has never excited me that much. In my opinion, it's not as important for the future of the Priest and the NWOBHM as, for example, In Rock, Rising, Paranoid. And then Tyrant and The Ripper as primordial speed metal? I don't know... to me, it doesn’t hold water: Highway Star is much better for this task... or Fireball. I don’t know why, but for me, there’s just no comparison between this album and works like Painkiller, Defenders Of The Faith, or British Steel.

In my opinion, an overrated band. If they weren't offshoots of Metallica, they wouldn't have had a tenth of the success they've had. There are plenty of thrash bands that are much better but have remained in the underground: not everyone, like them, has been lucky enough to come from a band like Metallica.

So: if music experts say one thing and you say the opposite, you are the music expert from now on. Right? Come on. But anyway, this doom-metal album has plenty of it (we can agree that the NWOBHM has nothing to do with this record), right from the first track. And good Lord, why don't you talk about the album, the artist, and the songs instead of dwelling on these things? By doing so, you’re just saying a lot of nonsense...

WONDER!!! There are no words to describe this masterpiece. The title track is sublime. Night Crawler and Leather Rebel are wonderful. All the others are beautiful. In my opinion, the best heavy metal album of all time after Ride The Lightning.

Ah ok. No because I didn't understand how it works. But now I got it: metal outside of NWOBHM (not to get too specific), which for the majority is metal, for you it isn't or it's fake metal. Instead, what for the majority is hard to define as metal (the music of Korn), for you is metal. It's simply metal hybridized with other genres. What a wonder!
