No, no, my comments are directed at Riccardo, who, however, has promised that he will not read any of my comments anymore. Can we trust him?

Come on, let's try to think logically. Heavy metal is a genre that practically belongs to the '80s; it's like looking for prog records in the early '60s, or psychedelics in the '50s. For the love of heaven, there may be some anticipations, but after all, the dating of genres is clear.

Damn, I hadn't realized that someone had already brought out the Steppenwolf. Well, sorry...

Lester Bangs uses the words heavy metal, but he doesn't invent them; they actually appear in the Steppenwolf song "Born to be Wild" (I like smoke and lightning HEAVY METAL thunder Racin' with the wind And the feelin' that I'm under). In 1971, there was hard rock; I've already expressed my thoughts on these things. Until '78, but let’s say even '80-'81, there is practically nothing metal. In 1976, Judas Priest released Sad Wings of Destiny, a really great album of exceptionally evolved hard rock, but still hard rock (Onda Rock, for example, even states that Judas Priest will never detach themselves from hard rock, even if they have their feet "immersed in metal"). No one says that Sin After Sin from the following year is far more important for metal (massive use of double bass, and other innovations, check out Sinner...), even though it is hard rock. If you really want to hear something that resembles metal but belongs to the '70s, then Rising by Rainbow is for you. Metal belongs to the '80s; the '70s are, in a sense, a decade of preparation, the decade that unites the heaviness of blues, rock & roll, and the dark or meditative atmospheres typically progressive.

I don't know, I have to listen to it carefully, but they seem too devoted to Hendrix.

But are the Beatles in the top 100 albums? Come on, this is pure provocation, a trivial provocation; I can understand that someone may be more attached to classical music than to rock, but we are talking about a provocative attitude here: I’ve seen 6/10 for Aqua, 4/10 for albums like Trick of the Tail, and at the same time 4 for Backstreet Boys albums. If these are balanced and well-considered judgments...

Last thing. Yes, Larrock, I downloaded them later, after I had already deleted the others. The very first Manovar are honest, come on, I don't understand all this fuss, I judge them based on the music they've made, not how they dress (or rather, undress). BYE, GOOD NIGHT
