DaveJonGilmour, I have a question for you: what do you think about Carone by Trip, an album released in 1971 and a precursor along with Collage of Italian progressive music? It seems to me like one of those Italian records that deserves to be rediscovered, where a perfectly fitting atmosphere immerses me in a fantastical world. The same goes for the Jacula of Antonio Bartoncetti: In Cauda Semper Stat Venenum is one of my favorite albums (I’m not saying this to sound like the next Scaruffi...). Tell me what you think about these two bands.

Dear Fusillo, since the people are oxen, they are still conditioned in their subconscious, thus tending, even involuntarily, to follow and idolize their myth, trying to imitate even the dirt under the toenails. I stand by my belief that putting politics in the texts is a despicable attitude because it tends to leverage something that is not art, but merely a pseudo-march extra to try to capture as much audience as possible. Don't you think, for example, that that 'picio' Bono from U2 is doing political music only for the love of humanity? The audience falls for it, and he fills his pockets with many EURI, which are now his only true God. Do you understand the concept?

There are artists who have so much charisma and talent that they don't need to inject politics into their music. Politics divides, music unites; my father tells me that in the seventies, Demetrio Stratos protested against PFM because they paid homage to the Madonna with Dolcissima Maria: he, being left-leaning, only divided the audience without caring about freedom of expression. Dolcissima Maria is a tribute, while L'Elefante bianco is a hymn to a certain political faction: it's like saying, follow us because we are better than them...

A beautiful review that frames a work of art. The great thing about these records was that they lasted no more than thirty minutes, so they were already stripped of any kind of filler. Amidst the crap of today, we hear albums that last 78-80 minutes: just imagine the satisfaction...

A masterpiece of Progressive, indeed. The three create a peculiar form of rock that is practically inimitable, marked by the beautiful voice of Aldo Tagliapietra, which makes both that obese one from Banco (whom many proclaim to be a lyrical singer, but who remains and will always remain obese) and that communist Stratos pale in comparison. Yes, he had an extraordinary voice (no doubt about it), but he had nothing else. I agree that the members of PFM excel in instrumentals, so much so that they make you forget everything else. If you look on progressive sites, even foreign ones, you will ultimately discover that Le Orme and PFM are the leading Italian representatives, while Banco and Area are always a step below; the reason lies primarily in the fact that Area and Banco sullied their music with useless political messages that had little to do with music. Orme and PFM, on the other hand, were representatives of a pure art that did not need to rely on political messages to promote their music: their only sponsor was the emotions they managed to transmit through their music, which in the end rewarded them more than others.

Poletti can kneel and perform a blowjob on my big banana. You only comment to belittle clearly brilliant works like this and to exalt musical abortions that no one knows and that are complete crap. "Poletti, your pissing against the wind only makes your hair turn yellow." LORD DIXIT

Why did Roger Taylor, in live performances, hit both the rim and the center of the snare with the stick, producing that "speck" that I hate so much? And to think that when I hear that snare making "BDRISCH" on the first albums, I go nuts with joy. That open hi-hat on the snare hit then...
