As already mentioned, the slip is lurking, but Duke is still a gentleman... The review is a 4: there were already others.

Listen, I’ve said my piece, now you say yours. Rock is all about playing and having fun, not sniffing (I think Iggy knows a thing or two about that...) until your nose falls off.

What Peter Gabriel was inspired by in Phil Collins while singing, I had already heard: I confess that the first time I listened to Genesis (Selling England...), I couldn't tell when Peter was singing and when Phil was. But now the fact is different: listening to Chapman and listening to Gabriel, our ears immediately realize that there is something that unites the two voices; this leads me to assert that if Family hadn't existed, Gabriel would probably have had a different vocal approach (note, not a different voice), slightly different from the one he has developed. Similar reasoning can be made with many other bands, like Rush, for example: Geddy Lee has his unmistakable tone of voice, but just think if Led Zeppelin hadn’t existed? The influence of Robert Plant and his peers on the early albums is tremendous; then, gradually, they refined to acquire a true style of their own. Anyway, these discussions are a bit far-fetched; we are talking about two great bands, each with a very particular and personal style. One has influenced the other—what's wrong with that?

Edges and sticks, Iggy Pop and American alternative rock (except for the Minutemen), these are the true horrors of music.
