what he mentioned, dark ambient and black metal. In general, there is no such thing as "extreme music"; I used it because it seemed to me that I called him an idiot and I wanted to tone it down, narrowing (in my opinion) his carelessness to a phantom "extreme music"...

great review; I don't know the genre but I trust the value of the record. Without offending anyone, I find gothic a somewhat fake genre, constructed in opposition to the normal world, appreciating more or less the same things but enriching their representation through a somewhat overly baroque imagery to be felt; I prefer the elend when it comes to the dark mix of male and female voices, and other things, like Beatrik "requiem of december" for the same themes.

ps: but are you really convinced that this interview is so different from those in black metal? just like over there someone will bring up Satan and the Antichrist, here someone will talk about Mother Nature, rebirthing, and Greenpeace. the seeds are everywhere, but so are the smart ones.

Uff, the interview itself is great, but it’s further proof that this initiative was essentially created to mock metal; you felt the need to maintain the character even in more serious waters to keep a logical continuity with the previous interview. Aside from that, all good.

Yes, I had already seen it, that's how I found the blog (a bit of a cumbersome route, I just needed to check the tab).

In fact, I never thought that Amon Amarth were the best in Viking metal with bands like Windir and Wyrd around; the album seems very interesting, I'll try to get it as soon as possible. I'm gradually reading your "Reame di Ozz," and I found it very interesting, especially the personal parts (I'm a sort of vampire of other people's feelings :D), since the reviews were already a guarantee. Bye!

Yes, Christian satanic rock does exist: it’s called un-black metal (it’s based on black metal, which is a satanic genre, but it purifies its original concepts to replace them with Christian ones, deeply rooted in Brazil).
