If only it were so! It’s that "hara" means belly and "kiru" means to cut, so "harakiri" is quite clear as a term (even though seppuku has the identical meaning, with a reading of the characters "in the Chinese way"). I believe the problem is due to the inexplicable inability of many Italians to pronounce the voiced "H", resulting in them eventually swapping it for a "K". The same phenomenon is indeed evident when, speaking of the brand, you hear "Yamaka" instead of "Yamaha". :-/ Well, the term used on the album is this one, so eldiablo has no blame!

"Karakiri"?! Holy God, my little Japanese heart is at risk of collapsing. It's spelled "Harakiri," with an H (and the more correct term is seppuku). Karakiri means "completely."

3 because I absolutely can't understand how the album could be (but probably that's the intended effect :-D). The cover is very beautiful.

Oh, how much did you comment while I was writing these two lines up here?!

@andrewramone: ugh... they're coming on mydeb. Stop spamming on every review you come across. Oh, by the way, you're the one with the review on Rotten Sound, someone who actually knows about grindcore, I mean. @Gustavo: it's understandable not to relate to certain lyrics (especially since the CBs definitely play around with "difficult" lyrics), but I don't think they can be dismissed as a jumble of unconstructive banality, quite the opposite. They might not be shareable (like everything, after all), but they certainly aren't nonsense (even the song you mentioned).

The review is frankly terrible, regardless of the different opinions we may have about this work. Either you do a "true" track-by-track, because "over to you for comments" is one of the most useless expressions you can use in a review (by the way, did you really read the lyrics? And did you understand them? I have my doubts), or you make a more general discourse, where you truly explain what leads you to rate it 1. As far as I'm concerned, it's an excellent hardcore/grind album, a product of the Italian tradition of the '80s, but I prefer the subsequent Desperately Insensitive. @ andrewramone: But where do they suck? Why?

Yes, it took me a while to understand it too...then I replied to him privately. Sorry!

Ah.... I think andrewramone was referring not to this record, but to the one by Amebix. But wouldn't it have been easier for him to reply to me directly there so it would have been all clearer?
